Just a second cousin to Elvis Costello, or does he have a shot?

Squeezing Out Sparks is in my 20 albums to be stranded on a deserted island list. This man has talent. He should have been the act of the 80's, but people were listening to the doobies and the eagles.

You're only off by one full decade, retard
You mean the 70's.

His talent, continously underappreciated, deserves recognition. Either live or in the studio, this man has delivered. His ability to be both topical and profound has impressed me for the last 25 years. He is a wordsmith without compare. An award could not increase the respect I have for him, but is certainly overdue.

I dunno, "Howlin' the Wind" and "Squeezing Out Sparks" are GREAT albums... but yeah, Costello lite

Well... kind of like Costello as both were offshoots of "pub-rock", but more of a traditionalist (Stones, Van Morrison) whereas Elvis was more punk/new-wave...

Many deserving on the list; but Graham burned. Squeezing out Sparks was arguably one of the best albums of the 70's. Indeed, his music still matters. He and the Rumor should be inducted before many more years go by.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
