Rock and Roll? - no. There would need to be another category, and none of their hits were self written. Gary has an absolutely mesmerising voice though.

I'm totally, TOTALLY! shock infact, speechless when I found out that song Artist Gary Puckett & The Union Gap
are not in The Music Hall of Fame.

Oh-my-Gosh! what talent came through those vocal cords and his style and lyrics always had me on cloud 99 even till this very day when I listen to his music.
I'm blown away to have heard that Gary Puckett & The Union Gap are not where they SHOULD BE; and that's in The Music Hall of Fame; Clearly, and fairly with such awesome talent
The Band had.

The UNION GAP was One of the the top groups of the 69s led by a sensational tenor voice of Gary PUCKETT. THEIR record sales and lasting popularity at oldie shows certainly support their induction into the Hall.

Gary Puckett and the Union Gap had sensational hits with 6 gold singles consecutively. That is amazing!! Gary's voice is recognizable and superb. Even people who don't know him or the group KNOW the lyrics to their first three hits. They are a rock legend and should be in the Rock Hall of Fame!! There hits are timeless.

I have already sent an e-mail to you but I shall leave another. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap played a Big Part of the Youngsters
lives in the 1960's with their Music. It was music that you could understand and sing along to and it also left a lot of Memories to
those People. Kerry Chater and Gary Mutha along with Gary Puckett wrote some of their songs and Kerry Chater has wrote many
songs for other Artists.

Gary Puckett is still performing and his Voice is still strong. The Youngsters of today with their Rap Music are not a patch on the
likes of Gary Puckett and the Union Gap - Beatles and many other and their Music will not be remembered like those of the 1960's.

So Please would you consider them to be entered in the Wall of Fame. Thank You.

Don't do it posthumously. Do it while he is alive and well! He has a phenomenal voice with hits to match and deserves the recognition of his contributions to music.

INDUCT Gary into the Music Hall of Fame now, before it's too late. None of us are getting any younger!!

Respectfully,
Linda

Gary Puckett and the Union Gap belong in the R&R HOF for many reasons:
- Still selling out concerts. We were in IA last week and we stood up for just about every song he sang ... and the whole audience was over 70! Great/mega voice!
- Has a street named after him in Hibbing, MN ... True
- Personality and Style +++ and Patriotic and respectful to all Vets.
- GP has a huge presence on YouTube ... search him and you'll be stunned. Crossover artist both R&R and Country.

I really can't believe that this group who outsold the Beatles at one point, is not, and had not been considered for the R and R music hall of fame!..... He can sing anything, and has, and his range, his powerful voice, and his longevity, should at least. be considered!.... I hope all of these comments are heard!

Please induct Gary Puckett into the R&R HOF! I bought my first album when I was 15; I'm now 60 and still a huge fan. What an incredible instrument he possessed in that voice of his! The tonal quality, resonance, timber, and expression in his multi-layered voice just cannot be matched by any other singer, living or dead! Please induct this magnificent singer!!

There are no excuses for Gary Puckett and the Union Gap not being inducted. It's past time. This groups music is iconic. Puckett's voice is one of the greatest voices ever. Don't wait to posthumously induct this man or group.

It's criminal to exclude Gary Puckett from the Hall of Fame.
He still tours, has one of the richest most beautiful voices in contemporary music, and has had a strong influence on singers like myself. I implore you, please induct Mr Puckett , let him take his place amongst his peers.
