Gary Moore is one of the greatest blues/rock guitarists of all time. Simply put. Anyone in doubt should go no farther than You Tube to verify that. Singer, writer of many beautiful songs. Melodic, technically proficient and plays with heart, emotion and power. If Gary Moore is not in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame it is simply a sham. He belongs there and that is the pure truth of it.

Didnt he play with Thin Lizzy?

Yes, Gary Moore played on 2 Thin Lizzy albums, Nightlife and Black Rose, and was on quite a few tours also. He should definitely be included as a member for Thin Lizzy for nomination.
This is because he was like the Thin Lizzy utility man. Whenever Phil Lynott needed him, he would fill in, and keep the band rolling. They were very good, close friends, and I believe it would be unacceptable to Phil Lynott, that Gary Moore is not included as a member of Thin Lizzy.

His mastery of blues, and creativity in song and melody writing coupled with his downright clean speed and talent on the guitar is remarkable. Still have the blues for you, I kind of song that makes tears well up in your eyes! I saw a what the Rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame inducted this year, are you kidding me. The man belongs in the hall!

Anyone who has seen Gary moore live or on video cannot deny that he belongs in the rrhof. Certainly as part of Thin Lizzy or for his solo career. As a guitarist he was truly underrated. For me, "Parisianne Walkways" will always be one of the best guitar solos in rock or blues. To deny him entrance would be a huge mistake.

He definitely should be in. I rate him as the best guitarist ever.

In MHO one of the five best rock/blues guitarists of all time. I don't care how he gets into the RHOF, he simply deserves to be inducted.

Sideman? You've got to be kidding.

One of the greatest guitarists of all time. Its criminal that Gary Moore is not in the HOF. Check out "The Messiah Will Come Again" at Montreux live video on Youtube for a taste. Incredible.

In my opinion, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy and Rory Gallagher should all be in any credible RR hall of fame.

Yes, I agree IF Gary Moore and Thin Lizzy are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Frame, then it shoukd be called the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame. Also, Wild Frontier my favorite Gary Moore alblum; along with Out in the Fields and Victims of the Future.

Anyone that feels Gary Moore should not be in the HOF knows little about musicianship. Parisenne Walkways Montreaux 2010. Try playing the speed licks at the end of the verse.
"Au thought so,can't do it"who can,not many.
One of the greatest guitarists of all time. Dummy's can't understand talent when they see it.

How do we get Gary in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Do we need to start a petition or something. I agree it is the Hall of Shame if he is not included. One if not the great guitarists of all time. I just started listening to him when my other favorite soon to be just like Gary Moore artist Taj Farrant (look him up)
Said he was his guitar idol. Taj is amazing and one day will be in the hall of fame too!
