With many top hits and 110 appearances on American Bandstand, why is he NOT in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

He should be in the Hall Of Fame. No doubt about it

Did Freddy Cannon sing "Palisades Park"? Or was that another guy named Freddy?

Yes, Brian. Freddy Cannon sang Palisades Park. He also sang Tallahassee Lassie.

Coming from that era, of course it's unforgivable. That Freddie Cannon isn't recognized. He was a mainstay. I also like the idea of inducting Jack Scott. His songs were very much embraced by the 50s/60s generation. Those in charge today can't relate.

Not having Freddy Cannon in the RRHOF is not only a shame, it borders on criminal. He's one of the true pioneers of the genre.

For all of the reasons above, plus after over 60 years I'm still listening to him.

Freddy Cannon should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

An enjoyable fun singer but not hall of fame worthy to be absolutely honest. There are many more deserving musicians queuing up before Freddy Cannon.
