me personally, as much as i love "she drives me crazy", i just do not see them getting in. if i was on the commitee i would find it really hard to vote for an act that (so far) has only released TWO ablums;ok three if you count the obligatory "hits" package.

besides take away the other acts that will be eligible in the same year, theres already a MASSIVE amount of other bands and solo acts which are better choices for induction;that are NOT already in the hall.

Some good stuff, but no way.

To add to my previous comments: They had a couple of good hits, but those hits didn't change the mainstream in any way, nor did FYC radicalize the underground in any way.

As much as I love "She Drives Me Crazy" there is no way these guys should go in, way too minimal of an impact on the musical landscape.

English Beat members would go on to form General Public and Fine Young Cannibals. General Public page coming soon to Future Rock Legends.

I like "Good Thing" as well. I don't know why, it just sticks.
