Depeche, Cure, And VInce are now in. Erasure are still recording and still making the charts. Not too mention their Respect has become an anthem for LGBTQ+ groups. And Andy was one of the first openly gay singers in the 80s. Surely time for their nomination. Some previous inductees - like the Go-Go's were good but didn;t stay relevant nearly as long. They are a truly original group with dozens of memorable songs, anthems to the gbltq community. Looking at past entrants, Erasure surpasses some to me. They belong in the rrhof Posted by Barbara Mykkanen on Wednesday, 11/30/2022 @ 11:41am |
How has a group that has influenced music since the 1980's, helped introduce electronic music to the masses, has made 19 studio albums, still tours, been inclusive of everyone and still makes people dance NOT in the Hall of Fame? SOMEONE please explain! I'm shocked and saddened. Please don't let something happen to either one of them to then induce them when now is the time. Posted by Abby on Saturday, 12/17/2022 @ 22:02pm |
