It would be great to see this man get recognized for his great songs and music. He has many friends and influences in music from Bluegrass to Rock and Roll. HE DESERVES IT!

Dwight Yoakam has worked hard to get where he is at.He has came a long ways since he started his career.
I truly think he deserve to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
I would love to see the yes votes climb up as time goes by.

One of the few Country acts I would put in the Hall. Truly a great musician.

Just a matter of time until he gets in.

I think he should be inducted into both the Rock and Roll and the Country Music Hall of Fames immediately! He is why this heavy metal and hard rock/rockabilly fan now enjoys honky tonk music! Dwight is a unique artist, great songwriter and has had a transformative influence on modern country rock. He is a true Legend!

If you are going to start inducting country artists, Dwight Yoakam would be a solid call, IMO.
