One of the most underrated groups to come out of the late 60's and early 70's.

Delaney was a musician's musician.. just look at the sidemen he had in his band from time to time. From Eric Clapton to George Harrison, these guys asked to join this group because they like what they are doing.

In my opinion, Delaney should also be in a category of his own. He made some good solo LP's also, especially his last on in '08, "A New Kind Of Blues".

Unfortunately after Delaney passed away in Dec. '08 there has been a lawsuit going on. It seems on of his daughters, no relation to Bonnie, said the will was invalid and she wanted everything.
It's interesting when people do when people die even a daughter.

So a law suit procedes saying Delaney was not competent when this will was drawn up..The judge said that was B.S. and it was all about GREED and the fact that Michele Bramlett didn't like Delaney's wife Susan.. who is a doll and was next to Delaney till the minute he passed. Long story not as long, the will stood as written.

Michele didn't visit him but one time in the 6 months he was in the hospital.. That's LOVE huh.

Anyway, I say get least Delaney Bramlett in to the RAR HOF.

With Leon Russell now a Hall Of Famer, there's a greater chance for D&B to be nominated. Leon cowrote "Superstar" (made famous by the Carpenters) with Delaney.
