Saw these guys at Bonnaroo! Was right down front for their set. Boys from Kentucky played before a massive crowd at Which Stage. Lead singer is a freak! Must use 5,000 calories at set. It was fairly hot, around 430 pm, and he comes out in some kind of gold lame top that was probably used in a Star Trek show. Danced & strutted for 3/4 hour in that before ditching it. Had multiple technical difficulties during show that caused them not to be able to play their last song (which I'm sure was 'Always Something', as that was the only hit they hadn't played). Mr. Schultz commented during one of their holdups for the technical issues 'Well, I'm going to fire my entire crew after this set, so I got that going for me'. He crowd surfed multiple times while singing a song and stood on people's shoulders & belted out his hits. After one crowd surfing escapade, he remarked 'for future reference, I don't keep my wallet in my crotch'.

See these guys in concert! IMO, starting their trip to The Hall one day.

Two Grammy's for "Rock album of the year", plus Melophobia which has to be their greatest album to date.

They are one of the best bands around today and still have many years left to create a sublime legacy. Unless things go terribly wrong they should be guaranteed first ballot

as of right now, with their releases they are definitely on the radar for the hall of fame

Having 10 Alternative #1s is the Rock Hall version of 3000 base hits.

RHCP, Green Day, and Foo Fighters all have more and they're in. Linkin Park is eligible in 2026 and they're shoo-ins. The only othet band with that many...

Cage the Elephant.

Like it's meant to be!

Yes, probably. Caveats… we need to run out of electable mtv stars and also get some more alternative friendly electors. Of the alternative bands for the last 20 years or so, Cage is in the mix for sure…2 Grammies for BEST ROCK ALBUM doesn't hurt your chances either.
