Already in with P-Funk. I wasn't aware that he had a solo carreer. Alright, a new detective case...

He changed the sound of Funk. He changed the way that James Brown produced his music and re-energized it. He then move to P-Funk and did the same for them. He soon went solo and topped them all on the charts while still co-writting, producing and arranging 90% of the P-Funk hits.

His music with James Brown, Parliament, Funkadelic, Bootsy's Rubber Band and Zapp are still the most sampled music to date. Most of the music you hear on the radio today can trace its root to Bootsy Collins and "The One".
