Avenged sevenfold should be in the rock n roll hall of fame in 2026 because they bring 80's metal back to life and are the best band since nirvana!:)

Avenged Sevenfold didn't only bring back 80's music. Of course, they did a lot of that on Hail To The King, but they've done so much more. They have mixed modern hard rock, and they've done heavier "screamo" if you will, and they've had hits on their albums, from City of Evil, to their self-titled album, on Nightmare, and Hail To The King. I wouldn't come close to calling them "sell-outs" or anything. They are truly skilled musicians who deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame once their time comes.

They should definitely be inducted whenever this year comes. They are such a talented, well organised band who reaches out to each and every one of there fans through there lyrics. It is proven they have some of the most die hard fans out there, just because they are so real in there music and know how to put their hearts in to sentences. They're songs have helped me so much through my love and I am a die hard fan of they're music. I think RNRHOF will realise just how special these guys are when they are brought up as an electee.

I believe that Avenged Sevenfold's music is heavily based on the lyrics that help portray the message of the song. I have been listening to them since City of Evil, and ever since then I try and listen to and understand the lyrics that the hold. With their new album, The Stage, they talk about how technology and robotics are the fall of humanity. And to anyone who thinks that A7X are terrible, annoying, and undeserving, then how the hell have they made it to Games and movies such as Black ops 1 (Call of Duty) Black ops 2, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Transformers (Revenge of the fallen); and how did they get their own separate cut-scene in the end of campaign of BO2 with animation, and last but not least, these game companies literally ASKED them to make THEIR OWN songs for the game, instead of using one that they had already made.

The song "save me" is an 11 minute song with over 10 key and time changes and it was written by a drummer who literally died within weeks writing it. The lyrics heavily reflect a person stuck with a drug addiction and it chills me to the bone every time I hear it.

They definitely deserve it, they are one of the best and biggest metal bands of the 21st century. They are diverse and their songs dont sound alike. They should make a new album to ensure their induction.

City of Evil should be listed under essential albums, and Bat Country, Afterlife, Almost Easy, Nightmare, So Far Away, and Hail To The King should be listed as essential songs.

I doubt they'll get in, but it would be. only if they did. I've been a fan since 2010 and love hear every album they've ever done. The fact they have evolved, stayed fresh with their experimenting, and still manage to have memorable songs makes them worthy of an induction, even if it isn't likely they'll get in.

Damn. I love Avenged Sevenfold and it would be awesome if they get inducted one day. I don't know if they ever will be inducted however. Metal just doesn't do well at the Hall. Even though Avenged is arguably the biggest modern metal band (some say Slipknot is bigger but they don't have as much crossover appeal plus they peaked in the mid 2000s) metal just isn't as huge as it used to be. They are probably the closest thing to a modern day Metallica, but that doesn't mean much anymore due to the media hating rock and metal and bands like Imagine Dragons and "Panic At The Disco" (Brendon Urie's solo project) are seen as "rock bands". I hope that one day, however, they get in.

Avenged deserves this. Why do you think they were the biggest metal band of the 21st century? The growth of the band from Sounding The Seventh Trumpet to The Stage is undeniable. This is a band that plays all styles of metal. Not to mention the talent that every member of this band has. M Shadows has an amazing voice that gives A7X their signature sound. Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance are such a great guitar duo. Their guitars harmonize in a similar way to the way Iron Maiden's guitarists do. Johnny Christ is a underrated bassist, his bass structures are unique especially on songs like Afterlife and Blinded In Chains. You can clearly hear his bass. Each and every drummer Avenged have had absolutely crushes it, though of course no one will ever be better than the Rev.
I can not think of a band more worthy for the Hall than Avenged Sevenfold. This band's talent and the run they had will be talked about for decades.

No modern rock band deserves the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame more than AVENGED SEVENFOLD! This band has been rocking for 2 decades now and plan to release a new album this year. They keep growing their sound with each and every record. This band's talent is unrivaled in their generation. They should definitely be in the Hall when all is said and done!

Avenged Sevenfold is a band I would love to see inducted. I know there are bands who deserve it more than they do but when all is said and done they should ABSOLUTELY be in the hall of fame.
