Well, I have to say, the Rhodes' were quite influencal with Arcadia, The Power Station, and Duran Duran; but Arcadia only had one album with one hit in 1985 - that's all I'm aware of. Anyyway, my votes go with Robert Palmer as a solo artist and, as for the Rhodes', I give my vote to Duran Duran.

Clearing up confusion, Arcadia was Simon le Bon, Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor. The Power Station was Robert Palmer, Andy Taylor, John Taylor and Tony Thompson. Each side project released one record, both respectable, neither spectacular.

Duran Duran and Chic are the only routes into the hall for any of the involved parties, which sadly leaves the great Robert Palmer out in the cold barring the off chance that his solo career gets some consideration from the unpredictable and nonsensical nominating committee.
