R.I.P. Willie Mitchell.

Willie Mitchell was the founder of Hi Records, the label Al Green was on in the '70's and was also his producer.

Have the Kennedy Center Honors already aired ?

No, the ceremony is held during the first week of December, and televised on CBS during the last week of December.

Bill, the Kennedy Center Ceremonies always air in December around christmas time. On a side note, I'm really glad Al Green got this honor--one of the best soul singers ever.
