Does Adam Ant have anything to do with Adam and the Ants?

Yes, Malcolm McLaren took the Ants and formed Bow Wow Wow with them. That's the point that Adam Ant began being billed as a solo artist.

He's not even in the projected Hall? I think he's influential enough to be inducted at some point. I'm kinda surprised that bands like Def Leppard and Journey are in the projected and he isn't.

No arguments here, Scott. I don't like to play the this band vs. that band game, so I'll leave that last sentence alone, but Adam and the Ants are a band that do merit strong consideration at this point.

He is the "Adam" in "Adam and The Ants".

DarinRG, Adam and the Ants released two albums (one of which was the best selling album of 1980) after McLaren took the original Ants. Adam didn't go solo until 1982 after Adam and the Ants had released three albums.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
