oh c'mon! i agree, his chances go down for being on American Idol. However, you're making fun of him because he's gay?

Freddy Mercury and Elton John were gay!

that being said, i say no to Adam Lambert, and no to homophobia.

Judging by the last three posts it appears as if "Adam Lambert" had something to do with American Idol...

You know, I feel so proud I never watched a single episode of American Idol. In fact, I've never even watched a few seconds of it

keebord -- so you're proud to be ignorant? at least you're not critical of adam (yet).

"Ignorant" is a funny way of putting it. But yes, I suppose I'm "ignorant" and don't worry I will never be critical of this Mr. Lambert because I could care less about who he is. Thank you for your time & goodluck to you "Flip."

i haven't watched American idol either. But i can't seem to avoid it. It has to be the most over hyped show ever. it gets covered in the news programs, news papers, and is almost always the top article on yahoo news.

plus, i see it made fun of a lot on "The Soup" so i guess that's how i know who he is.

That may be true but have you found that in recent years theres been much less hype about it in the media? Or is just me?

American Idol has hit it's popularity peak and will go nowhere but down, so just wait for it to crumble. it was never relevant, and neither are the alumni's careers.

"That may be true but have you found that in recent years theres been much less hype about it in the media? Or is just me?"

probably because Michael Jackson's death has taken over the media. I still can't figure out why. George Carlin didn't get this much attention.

The commitee frowns upon manafactured artists (look at the monkeys), so he has a (very) slim chance, but very unlikely.

In 2034 when he's eligible, nobody will remember who he is. His 10 minutes of fame expired long ago.

Adam Lambert is a Rock God. Check out his SOLD-OUT Glam Nation Tour this summer and you will see why. And come on people, get over the sexual-orientation AND the American Idol factors. Adam can rock!

Well, now we can put to rest all the conspiracy theories. We now know why JFK was shot.

Lee Harvey Oswald: I loved your comment, it's true too...

Anyways, Adam is not a rock rock in any way, shape or form, or at least never will be. American Idol is for people who "think" they'll be the next big star....which ofcourse they didn't, with the exception of Chris Daughtry, and Kelly Clarkson. Adam is a good singer but I don't think he'll be getting offers to come to the Vma's or big award shows like that....I really hope he doesn't get in, but if he does....then I'll probably shoot someone.

"Anyways, Adam is not a rock rock in any way"

Oops,I meant "Rock God".

I think it is entirely unfair how everyone here is judging Adam based on the fact that he was on American Idol and that he is gay. Do either of those things really matter when it comes down to whether his music is good or not? And also, at this point in time, Adam has a total of three albums. One of songs from long before he was ever on American Idol, then his first studio album, and then a live album from his tour. His career as an artist is really just starting people. He is not eligible until 2034, give him a chance! Is that so hard? Who knows what the future will bring him and possibly the entire music world? I for one am looking forward to what might happen and at this point in time, yes I do hope he gets in someday. But like I said, we'll all see what the future brings.

I cannot believe people actually took time to comment on him.

Why does Adam Lambert (or any other artist with just one or two released albums) merit a page on this site? It is far too early to determine whether he is Hall-worthy or not.
